Activity: Bridge closed to thru traffic

Reason: Mill Pond Road is closed to thru traffic at the bridge for bridge replacement until the end of October. Motorists should follow detour signs around the work zone.

ESSEX JUNCTION Route 15 between Educational Drive and Taft Street Route 15 drainage project

Activity: Traffic delays, one lane travel

Reason: Traffic on Route 15 between Educational Drive east to Taft Street will be reduced to one lane at times to allow for work on a drainage project. Traffic control will be present, but delays are expected. Motorists should seek alternate routes if possible. This project should be completed by August 10.

INTERSTATE 89 Interstate 89 Milton Bridges over Lamoille River Project

Activity: Traffic delays

Reason: Work on the Interstate 89 bridges over the Lamoille River in Milton will cause traffic delays due to lane closures Monday through Friday. There will be northbound lane closures from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and southbound lane closures from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Motorists should plan for delays, reduce speed and use extreme caution while driving through the construction zone.

INTERSTATE 89 I-89 at Exit 10 in Waterbury Waterbury Exit 10 bridge work

Activity: Traffic delays

Reason: For motorists traveling from Washington County: Construction on the northbound and southbound Interstate 89 bridges at Exit 10 in Waterbury will result in crossovers, lane and ramp closures and speed restrictions in that area. Traffic delays are expected, especially during commute times and on weekends as crews will be working six days a week. Motorists can expect delays on Route 100 and I-89 sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

JERICHO Route 15 near Essex town line Route 15 Bridge repair

Activity: Lane closures, one lane traffic, traffic shifts.

Reason: Bridge work on Route 15 just east of the Essex/Jericho town line will require lane reductions and traffic shifts. There will be daily lane closures and some one lane traffic. This project is expected to be completed in September.

Activity: Traffic delays, lane shifts, parking restrictions, traffic detours

Reason: 
Motorists should be aware of construction on the following roads during the week:

On Tuesday from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m., Lafountain Street will be closed to through traffic between Niquette Court and Leclair Street. Traffic will be detoured.

On Wednesday from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., traffic on Main Street near the Colchester border will be shifted and parking will be restricted. Delays are expected. Also on Wednesday, Lafountain Street will be closed to through traffic between Leclair and Main Streets during the day, and traffic will be detoured.

On Thursday from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., Hood Street will be reduced to one lane. Also on Thursday, traffic on Malletts Bay Avenue by the intersection of Railroad Lane will be shifted and parking will be restricted. Delays are expected.

On Friday from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m., Malletts Bay Avenue traffic near the Colchester border will be shifted and delays are expected.
