Current FY2023 UPWP & Budget (Adopted May 18, 2022)
View the adopted FY2023 UPWP and Budget, effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023:

The CCRPC’s Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is a federally mandated document serving as the annual work plan for local and regional transportation planning projects – it describes our numerous programs and identifies the products we hope to accomplish. Updated annually, the UPWP summarizes the transportation and land use planning activities of CCRPC staff, its member agencies, and other transportation and planning agencies conducting work in the Chittenden County region. Additionally there is an annual mid-year adjustment, which modifies the scope of work accounting for unanticipated planning activities during the course of the work plan’s execution. Through an open process we solicit project requests from municipalities and the public on how we should invest public funds towards transportation and other planning programs in Chittenden County.

Developing the fy2024 annual work plan (upwp)

The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) is in the process of creating the FY2024 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), our annual work program that describes our activities and specifies the deliverables for the next year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024). The current UPWP, effective through June 30, 2023, can be viewed below. The UPWP is the mechanism to implement the strategies for our region outlined in the ECOS Plan and helps municipalities implement their local plans.

The deadline for receipt of completed submissions was Friday, January 20, 2023.

FY2024 UPWP COMMITTEE

The CCRPC receives local, state and federal funds from a variety of sources to be used in various planning programs, and the UPWP Committee determines the allocation of these diverse funds to best meet the objectives of the ECOS Plan. The FY2024 UPWP Committee began meeting in January 2023 to review received proposals. All meeting agendas and minutes are posted here.

FY2024 UPWP PUBLIC INPUT

Each year, the CCRPC seeks public input on planning ideas and projects for its annual work program. The public is invited to help develop new transportation, energy, and land use planning projects that improve safety and enhance mobility for all users of the transportation system, address climate change, and support our vibrant downtowns, villages and growth centers in Chittenden County.
