The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, your regional transportation and land use planning agency, is hosting a virtual summit on racial and economic equity in our communities.

EVENT PURPOSE

  • TALK | Participate in small group work sessions to discuss challenges and opportunities and explore ways Chittenden County can intentionally plan for racial and economic equity.
  • LEARN | Hear about the CCRPC’s equity audit work. Build shared understanding about the impact of land use and transportation planning on equity. Learn about equity centered innovations in planning and public participation.
  • ACT | Take the themes, collaborative ideas and momentum from the Summit to build action steps to inform the work ahead.

Who SHOULD Attend?

Community leaders, advocates, municipal elected officials, municipal staff, and anyone else with an interest in this work.

STIPENDS AND TRANSLATION SERVICES are available

To compensate you for your time and participation, $100 stipends are available to those not being compensated by an employer. To request a stipend, simply provide your full name and mailing address to Emma (evaughn@ccrpcvt.org or (802) 861-0114) so we can mail you a check after the event.
