6:00 pm – 12:00 am

110 W Canal St, Winooski, VT 05404

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018 – 6 PM @ St. Francis Xavier School (5 Saint Peter St., Winooski VT)

About the project:

Between June 1st – 10th, the City of Winooski Department of Public Works will install a temporary two-way protected bike lane and other traffic calming improvements along Weaver Street in partnership with Local Motion, the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, and VHB. The goal of the interactive pop-up project is to provide all users with the opportunity to experience a safer and more inclusive travel route which may help the City consider multimodal solutions for Weaver Street.

You’re invited:

On Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018, the City of Winooski will be hosting an informational community meeting and project introduction at the St. Francis Xavier School (5 Saint Peter St., intersecting w/ Weaver St.) so that the residents of Weaver Street and other interested parties have an opportunity to learn more about the project before it begins. This meeting is free and open to the public and will provide an opportunity for residents, visitors, and other stakeholders to view project plans, ask questions, and learn how to get involved in advance of the week-long pop-up launch. Light refreshments provided!

In addition to our project partners, we’re excited to be joined by the newly formed Winooski Bicycle Colation!  This meeting is a great opportunity to get to know their members and learn more about bicycle culture in Winooski.
