Located “At the Foot of Mount Mansfield,” the Town of Underhill is a rural community of approximately 3,040 residents. The Town has two main areas: the Underhill Flats area, encompassing the VT Route 15 corridor shared with the Town of Jericho and Poker Hill Road, and Underhill Center, at the intersection of River Road and Pleasant Valley Road.

CURRENT PROJECTS:
Underhill Center Active Transportation Scoping Study
The Town of Underhill, in collaboration with CCRPC, is conducting a scoping study for active transportation facilities in Underhill Village Center which will connect destinations in the village area to the planned village sidewalk. The project will explore options, probable cost and feasibility of walk bike infrastructure that enhances accessibility, mobility and improve bicyclist and pedestrian safety in and around the village area between Sandhill Road and Mountain Road.
