ECOS Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
A Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is strategy-driven plan for regional economic development. CCRPC, GBIC, and our partners seek to develop a CEDS that meets the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) requirements.
ceds Update & Public participation opportunities
CCRPC and GBIC are working to update the 2018 CEDS in partnership with regional planning commissions and regional development corporations in Addison County, Rutland County, and Central Vermont. This effort will lead to the development of the West Central Vermont CEDS in 2022 and 2023.
Starting on June 17, 2021, CCRPC and GBIC will begin a series of workshops with local business leaders, regional stakeholders, municipal representatives and residents to develop the West Central Vermont CEDS.
