North Avenue Corridor Study
This study evaluated transportation conditions along North Avenue between North Street and Plattsburgh Avenue in Burlington from a “Complete Streets” perspective, and developed multimodal transportation improvements that, when implemented, will provide for safe, inviting, and convenient travel for all users of all ages and abilities—including motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and public transportation riders. The final corridor plan identifies improvements that could be implemented in the near-term for relatively low cost, as well as potentially longer-term improvements involving larger-scale physical changes to the North Avenue corridor.
