Exit 17 Scoping Study
The Exit 17 Interchange and the adjacent intersection of US 2 and US 7 (Chimney Corners)
experiences significant congestion during peak travel hours. The interchange, while situated in Colchester, serves as the primary access to the Interstate for Milton and Grand Isle County. This scoping study will conceptually identify near-term options but focus more on detailed evaluation of long-term alternatives that may necessitate expansion of the existing overpass.
