latest news

Alternatives Presentation Meeting: May 13, 2026 | Presentation Slides » | Recording Slides »

The purpose of this study is to assess intersection improvement options for the VT Route 116 and Riggs Road intersection in Hinesburg. There are several development projects underway or in permitting that will affect the VT Route 116 corridor through town. This study is focused on the Riggs Road intersection, and will also include limited analysis of adjacent intersections that will impact the operation of the Riggs Road intersection. Intersection improvements will consider existing peak-hour congestion on VT Route 116, and planned development that will access both the east and west sides of the intersection.
