Thanks to everyone who offered comments using the online map tool and through email. The advisory committee met on February 10 — materials here. A public forum is being scheduled for March. To join the project email list send a quick note to [email protected].
The Town of Richmond seeks to create a master plan to guide the establishment of a full-fledged Complete Streets network. Project goals include identifying existing connections that can be incorporated into the future network, analyzing Town roads to determine their potential to be upgraded to accommodate multimodal traffic, and drafting conceptual designs for the adaptation of roads.
This project will be a two-year effort. The current phase focuses on the northern half of the Town (generally north of the Winooski River) with the second phase covering the southern half of the Town, planned for 2022.

The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) represents a range of perspectives and will: provide overall project guidance; review study materials and provide feedback; communicate with and provide updates to their organizations/constituents; and participate in developing the purpose and need statement, alternatives, and recommendations.

This meeting provided an introduction to the project, the roles/responsibilities of PAC members, review of the project scope, discussion of public outreach, and roundtable of existing conditions, current efforts, and desired connections.

The committee will review and discuss the existing conditions memo, as well as public comments shared through the online map/survey (wikimap).
